Partner Marketing Manager

About the role

Our Partner Marketing Manager works as part of our marketing function. Working closely with our internal strategy and commercial teams the focus of the role is to produce, manage and report on marketing plans. You’ll work to align our partners (manufacturers and vendors) to our own internal priorities and find ways to source funding for our campaigns.

In time you will develop a strong rapport with partner marketing contacts and their own internal processes – to seek out new routes to funding that complement our standard contractual plans and work alongside partners to plan and pitch for funds as required. You’ll be driven by maintaining partner relationships, all while ensuring the integrity of Jigsaw24’s strategic priorities

Key duties and responsibilities are:

A voice for partners. You’ll work alongside the commercial team to surface partner focuses and represent them in marketing planning ensuring that, where there are synergies between the partner and Jigsaw24’s internal focuses, we ensure product marketing representation and secure marketing development funds. With a Jigsaw24-first approach to marketing, you’ll be the sync back to the partner and represent our campaigns, helping them understand commercial objectives and tactics.

Commercial strategies. You will embed yourself into all teams, helping secure funding where appropriate, supporting all marketing efforts with partner planning and submission where required. Responsibility will lie with this role for informing the business of key partner submission dates to ensure that funding opportunities aren’t missed.

MDF management. The role includes end to end management of marketing funds within the business, overseeing the booking of funds against activities, communicating approval status of funds to all stakeholders, working with accounts to manage allocation and then submitting activity proof of execution and invoicing.

Performance reporting. You will report back to both partners and business management on the use of partner funds and the performance of funded activities, delivering engagement KPIs and financial return. You’ll work with partners to understand their reporting requirements and go above and beyond to ensure they come back wanting to work with us again.

Approvals. Where required, you will liaise with partners to handle all approvals, acting as a conduit of any feedback provided around partner/product branding and messaging back into the Jigsaw24 marketing team. You’ll familiarise yourself with partner requirements to ensure minimal feedback is expected.

Responsible for…

  • MDF marketing tracking throughout the business – ensuring funds are secured, managed and paid.
  • Partner activity briefing, providing a high level brief to the marketing team for delivery of non-strategic activities, ensuring internal and partner objectives are aligned.
  • Submission of MDF plans to partners – ensuring plans are formatted and approved by all internal stakeholders prior to reaching the partner.
  • Reporting on MDF plans back to partners and the business in line with partner expectations.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Experience working as a marketing lead, with demonstrable knowledge of campaign planning, budgeting and implementation.
  • Demonstrable focus on activity planning, budgeting and management of marketing funds.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and filtering requests in line with business priorities.
  • Experience of using Google Analytics, digital marketing platforms and sales reporting.
